a) Two prizes of an approximate total value of $120.50 CAD each will be awarded to two (2) winners. One (1) selected from Instagram, one (1) selected from Facebook.
For each prize, one (1) entry will be randomly selected from Instagram and one (1) entry will be randomly selected from Facebook, among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The random draw will take place at Ambedia, 135 Sherbrooke Est, Montreal, Quebec, H2X 1C6 on June 28th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. EST.
Selected participants will be notified of their selection by direct message no later than June 30th, 2021. To be declared a winner, those selected at the time of the draw must meet the following conditions:
a) Be in good standing with Yves Rocher; in particular, it will be required that the balance of their account is not overdue and payable;
If a selected participant cannot be reached within the prescribed period, does not meet all the conditions included in these contest rules, refuses the prize, does not correctly answer the mathematical skill-testing question, or is declared ineligible for the prize in any way, she/he will be disqualified and no longer entitled to the prize. In such event, Yves Rocher may, in its sole and absolute discretion, randomly select another participant from the remaining eligible entries received during the Contest Period and proceed in accordance with Section 7 above.
By entering this contest, the winners acknowledge and agree that:
a) Yves Rocher may use, without any form of compensation, their name, city of residence and photograph for promotional purposes, as well as for the purposes provided for in Section 11 below;
b) Their identity may be verified.
Any personal information that you provide to Yves Rocher as part of your participation in this contest will be subject to Yves Rocher’s Privacy Policy.
The name of the winners can be obtained after August 28th, 2021 by sending a postage-paid return envelope to Yves Rocher North America Inc., 2199, boul. Fernand-Lafontaine, Longueuil (Quebec) J4G 2V7.
The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible comments submitted by participants on Instagram and Facebook. Each eligible comment gives the right to one entry for the draw. There is no limit of participation.
By entering this contest, participants agree to abide by and be bound by these contest rules, which will be available on the Website during the Contest Period. Any decision by Yves Rocher relating to this contest is final and without appeal, subject to any decision of the Régie, in relation to any matter within its jurisdiction. For residents of Quebec, a dispute regarding the organization or conduct of this contest may be submitted to the Régie for a decision. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reaching a settlement.
Yves Rocher reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend, in whole or in part, this contest in the event that an event occurs or any human intervention that may alter or influence the administration, security, impartiality or conduct of the competition as provided for in these regulations, subject to the approval of the Régie if required.
In the event that, for any reason whatsoever, the contest should end in whole or in part before the end date provided for in these regulations, the selection of participants may be made among the eligible entries duly registered during the Contest Period or, at Yves Rocher's discretion, until the date of the event which ended the contest.
Yves Rocher reserves the right to disqualify a participant or to cancel one or more entries of a participant if she/he participates or attempts to participate in this contest by means contrary to these rules or likely to be unfair to other participants. This person could be handed over to the relevant competent authorities.
By entering this contest, any selected participant releases and indemnifies Yves Rocher, its affiliates and related companies, as well as their advertising and promotion agencies, employees, representatives and agents (the “Beneficiaries”) from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, cost or expense arising out of her/his participation in the contest.
Yves Rocher does not guarantee in any way that the Website or that any page or website linked to it will be accessible or functional and without interruption during the Contest Period or that they will be free from any error.
If any provision of these contest rules is declared or found illegal, unenforceable or void by a competent court, then such provision will be considered void, but the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
In the event of any discrepancy between the French version and the English version of these contest rules, the French version shall prevail.
