1. How are reviews checked?
To leave a review, users of the Ratings & Comments Service must create an account on our website at www.yves-rocher.com and sign in.

Reviews will be moderated prior to publication. Our moderators check that posted reviews comply with the Terms of Use for the online review service.

Our moderators will reject any reviews whose content is contrary to decency or public order, infringes other people's rights or violates applicable laws and regulations.

Similarly, reviews will not be published if they contain:
- Comments criticising the other reviews posted on the Site or their authors.
- Medical comments about the products.
- Comments about another product that bears no relation to the reviewed product or problems encountered when placing orders, which will be specifically addressed by our Customer Service.
- Comments about a product's safety.
- Random characters or word sequences without any meaning.

If our mediators refuse to publish a review, users will receive an automatic email explaining the reasons why their review has been rejected. In some cases, they will be invited to re-submit their review to the Site after amending its content.
2. How long does it take until reviews are published? How long are reviews kept on record?
Reviews are generally published within two to four working days after submission.

The content of published reviews will be retained for as long as Yves Rocher continues to offer the Online Review Service on its Site.
3. Can reviews be amended?
Once reviews have been submitted, approved by our moderators and published on the Site, users cannot amend or delete the content of their review.
4. Are rewards offered for leaving reviews?
Yves Rocher may offer consumers a reward (prize, voucher, etc.) for posting their review about a product, especially as part of a product test.

By using the Yves Rocher Customer Ratings & Comments service (hereinafter the "Service"), you indicate your acceptance of these Terms of Use

Yves Rocher always advises each visitor wishing to use this Service to read these Terms of Use carefully.

Since changes are likely to be made to the Site and Service, Yves Rocher reserves the right to adapt or amend these Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. If applicable, the new Terms of Use for the Service will be notified to each user by means of an online modification and will apply exclusively to ratings and comments posted after the modification.

Purpose of the Yves Rocher Customer Reviews & Comments service

1. The Service is available at www.yves-rocher.com and is designed as a platform to allow users to leave reviews, advice, tips, suggestions, information and recommendations about the Yves Rocher-marketed products that they have used. The Service also lets users assign a rating from one to five stars.

2. Messages published by users of the Service are based on their individual experiences and reflect their personal opinions. Yves Rocher provides users of the Service with a space for storing their reviews prior to posting. Users of the Service are solely responsible for the information, text and content contained in their reviews. Consequently, Yves Rocher disclaims any and all liability for such content.

3. Yves Rocher may offer consumers a reward (prize, voucher, etc.) for posting their review about a product, especially as part of a product test. Such reward will be offered to the consumer regardless of the content of the review.

Form and content of Ratings & Comments

1. A review must contain at least 50 characters, but no more than 1,500 characters. Users of the Service agree to write a review about a product that they have actually used. To ensure that comments are easy to read and understand, all users of the Service are asked to correct any spelling mistakes and avoid using text speak.

2. The Service may not be used to disseminate content that is contrary to decency and public order, infringes other people's rights or violates applicable laws and regulations, including:

  • Words or messages that are defamatory, insulting, obscene, racist or offensive, or which mention any type of illegal activity whatsoever.
  • Any abuse in exercising their freedom of expression, such as messages constituting a consistent or non-objective criticism, as well as content of a disparaging or malicious nature.
  • Content featuring violent or pornographic material, or which could offend human dignity or decency, or undermine equality between men and women or the protection of children and teenagers.
  • Words or messages inciting others to commit crimes or offences, encouraging violence, or promoting discrimination and racial hatred.
  • The fraudulent use of someone else's name, email address or company name.
  • The presence of personal information, such as first names and surnames, telephone numbers, postal addresses and email addresses.
  • The total or partial reproduction of content protected by intellectual property rights and for which users do not have any rights, as well as messages constituting an infringement of a trademark.

3. Users shall not hijack the Service for spreading propaganda, prospecting, soliciting or proselytizing for professional, commercial or political purposes (such as advertising, spam or references to other brand products, sales proposals, websites, etc.).

4. Yves Rocher Customer Ratings & Comments must not contain:

  • Comments criticising the other reviews posted on the Site or their authors.
  • Medical comments about the products.
  • Comments about another product that bears no relation to the reviewed product or problems encountered when placing orders (delivery issues, etc.), which will be specifically addressed by our Customer Service.
  • Random characters or word sequences without any meaning.
  • Comments about a product's safety (potential intolerances, etc.).
Yves Rocher invites all users wishing to express their views or enquire about product safety or order-related problems to contact our Customer Service on 0805 02 30 40 (free service and toll-free number) from Monday to Friday between 8 am and 8 pm, and Saturdays from 8 am to 7 pm, or via the "Contact Us" section on the Site.

5. Yves Rocher Customer Ratings & Comments must not contain email addresses, URLs, telephone numbers, postal addresses or other information (surname, first name, etc.) that could be used to identify the user.

6. The contents of the Yves Rocher Customer Ratings & Comments must not violate these Terms of Use and the Site's Terms of Service, and must not harm Yves Rocher's brand image or sales policy.

7. Users are also prohibited from impeding or disrupting the operation of the Service.
Users shall not incorporate documents, software or any other information into the reviews uploaded to the storage space provided by Yves Rocher that may damage other users' computers or allow unwarranted access to other websites.

Publication of Ratings and Comments

1. If you want to post a comment, you are required to create an account on the Site in accordance with the Site's Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale, and subsequently choose a username; if you wish, you can specify your skin type (face or body), complexion, hair type, body shape and eye colour. This information will be visible on your profile page to all people visiting the Site for the purpose of simplifying interaction. However, your password and email address will in no way be visible on your profile.
You are solely responsible for keeping your password safe and for the use of your account. You agree not to use the account, username or password of another Service user at any time.

2. All the reviews and the accompanying usernames are read by the moderators. Reviews are moderated prior to publication. Therefore, Yves Rocher reserves the right to not publish any user reviews, especially if they violate the provisions of these Terms of Use. Any refusal to publish a review after moderation will be notified to the user by means of an automatic email indicating that they have infringed these Terms of Use. In some cases, Yves Rocher allows users to amend and re-submit their rejected review using the said email received after moderation. Once reviews have been submitted, approved and published on the Site, users cannot amend or delete the content of their review.

3. Ratings and written comments are generally published within two to four working days after submission, subject to compliance with these Terms of Use. The content of the ratings and comments will be retained for as long as Yves Rocher continues to offer the Service on its Site.
Any content published on the Service may be used in its entirety at Yves Rocher's sole discretion. If only an excerpt of the review is published on the Site or on any platform other than the one to which it was uploaded, the excerpt will be accompanied by a link to the full review (site) or an indication of the source (e.g. paper format) allowing users to view the entire review.

4. Minors wishing to leave a review about an Yves Rocher product by means of this Service must first obtain permission from a parent or lawful representative. Yves Rocher may ask any minors to provide evidence of such permission and, if applicable, refuse to publish the review

5. People visiting the Site and/or using the Service may, if deemed necessary, report a review which, in their opinion, violates these Terms of Use. In case of failure to comply with the Terms of Use for the Service, Yves Rocher reserves the right to restrict, suspend or terminate access to all or part of the Service at its sole discretion and without prior notice. Yves Rocher reserves the right to contact the consumer who wrote the review.

6. Yves Rocher may be required to use reviews on other media and platforms. In addition, Yves Rocher reserves the right to share your review with other Yves Rocher entities for the purpose of publishing customer reviews on their respective Yves Rocher sites.

Intellectual property

The text, graphics, software, music, sounds, photographs, images, videos, databases and any other works featured on the Service are protected by applicable intellectual property regulations. Users agree not to reproduce the foregoing without express prior authorisation from Yves Rocher and not extract data from the databases used by the Service.
By uploading their review to the Service, users expressly agree that Yves Rocher may, free of charge, disseminate, reproduce and represent all or part of their reviews and ratings about the Yves Rocher products concerned as well as their username by any means of reproduction and representation and on any media worldwide, for as long as the intellectual property rights and any extensions thereof are protected by law.
The media used may include graphic and paper media, as well as audiovisual, electronic and digital communication media such as CD-ROMs, DVDs and the Internet, and any known or future media.
Such authorisation shall grant Yves Rocher the free right to use all or part of the reviews, and reproduce, modify or delete them in whole or in part, create derivative works thereof, and adapt, publish, translate, sell or distribute them for commercial, promotional and advertising purposes.
By publishing content, users of the Service assume full responsibility as the author. When publishing a review on the Service, if users wish to quote, display, reproduce or make reference to all or part of content of which they are not the owner or author, and only for the purpose of informing, disseminating or promoting such content on behalf of their beneficiary, said users agree to consistently mention the source and credits.
You hereby acknowledge that Yves Rocher may translate and publish your review on its social media pages, such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter, and on other Yves Rocher sites.
